I moved to Chapel Hill, NC from the North East in 1992, while I was not on the Mayflower, I have watched the area grow far beyond the projections and stereo types. I remember when 15-501 was a 4 lane road and the town was just planting the medians. I thought when my kids are grown these saplings will cast full shade, and now they do. The end of Pinehurst Drive in the Oaks was a dead end just past Burning Tree and I’ll never forget the day The Tour De France actually whizzed down Raleigh Road. Sutton’s Drugs was the best place to get a shake and cheese fries and there was only one high school.
The Triangle area is growing and incorporating the best that living and learning has to offer. Duke University and UNC Chapel Hill, public and private schools, 5 star restaurants, nature preserves and trails, local agriculture, art and history, top rated golf courses and team sports. If your looking in the area, you have found home. There is something for everyone and I love this place!
In 2001, I started working for a successful builder in Chapel Hill, Tom Johnson, Windhorse LLC, and was inspired to get my real estate license and become a Realtor. Since then I have made my home and office in Orange county between Hillsborough, Chapel Hill and Durham. I work closely with a team of local professionals from appraisals, staging, inspecting, to closing, and have worked hard to keep my business small and personal.
Tom has built custom homes in the Reserve, Tuscany Ridge, Meadowmont and Creek Wood, to name just a few, and private homes in Chapel Hill, Hillsborough and Durham as well. He has both a commercial and residential license. His knowledge and experience bring a depth to our seller’s listings and our buyer’s services.
Together we offer everything a client will need and step by step professional guidance to ensure our clients of selling, finding, or building the best nest.
